I was born in Madagascar and reared in Rangoon. I’ve been a burlesque dancer and a nun. Yes, I’m THAT Delores LaRose. I’m a great believer in fixing things. I fixed every dog and husband I’ve ever owned, why not the world? It needs fixing. That’s my talent — fixing things. I look a person in the eyes and I know just what to do. I’m never wrong — ask any of my husbands.

As an Alchemystical Storyteller, Magdalen Bowyer is devoted to co-creating intimate relationship with the Divine Feminine. Her work on the page and in the lives of women, un-earths the truth that all power is Divine, flows from within and wants to be mobilized in our lives. Personal empowerment is the natural result when we align with the Divine and harness our real power. Then all of life rejoices in the creative blessings and innate compassion of Wo/man as Mighty Being in All Her Radiance.
I was born and grew up in Berkeley, California. Virtually every major happening, demonstration and protest in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1960s saw me front and centre. I studied with and worked on the staff of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the TM organization, in Europe and in India. I have a B.A. in Art History from Oakland University in Michigan and a BFA from California College of the Arts.
